Golden Week!

The first week of May brings the curiously scattered holidays known as "Golden Week". This year the official holidays are Tuesday to Thursday, May 3-4-5. So we can actually ship puzzles on Monday or Friday, but in practice there will be disruption until the week beginning May 9.

Covid-19: Shop status

We are accepting orders again, but with very limited shipping options, which we have to handle manually. Please use the checkout form to request puzzles, and we will get back to you when we can. Please see the front page for more details.

Jigsaw puzzle manufacturers

Cuties is a rather odd little company, producing a rather disparate range of jigsaw puzzles, in addition to "adult dolls" and similar products. In particular, they obviously have someone with a passion for hanga, woodblock prints by the great masters, and the ukiyo-e range includes all 53 of the "Stations of the Tokaido" by Hiroshige, and many of Hokusai's portrayals of Mount Fuji, all in 300 pieces.

There is a Cuties website; here is the page on puzzles: This page includes a selection of puzzles, and there are also downloadable Excel spreadsheets, whose names are largely self-explanatory:
